To check that the Sentinel driver has installed correctly, go to the Windows device manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers you should seen an entry for 'SafeNet USB SuperPro/UltraPro'. Once completed reboot your machine and insert the USB dongle. Click Finish to close the Sentinel driver Installer. Once installed, the InstallShield Wizard completes. Select the Complete installation option. Click Next to move to the Setup Type screen. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. Read and accept the License Grant/Warranty statement. In order to use your SuperPro key will need to install the Sentinel Driver, Install the Sentinel drivers if you have purchased a 'Shared' developer license with a Sentinel Key so that you can use hardware-locked CrossWorks licenses. Once the new key is received, contact Customer Service for a new license file based on the new Sentinel Key's number.This document contains instructions for installing your Gemalto Sentinel SuperPro Contact Customer Service to exchange your key for a new one. A final test of the key would be to install the key and the License Manager on another Windows system. Contact a System Administrator for help to correct the parallel port communication. If multiple hardware keys are plugged into the parallel port, try placing the ESRI Sentinel Key as the first in the chain and recheck the Sentinel Key status. Make sure that the ESRI hardware key is attached to the primary parallel port. If the Sentinel Driver is version PPD 5.38 or later and the Sentinel Key is conflicting with another device, one option is to install a second parallel port card to add a second parallel port or to use a USB key.
